what is age limit and percentage for engineering candidates to apply for the UPSC CDS exam...?

Friend age limit for the exam is, 21-30 years and relaxation for SC/ST and OBC.

and the you should have at least 50% aggregate marks.

The age should be between 20-30 years. Ofcourse there is relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Also one should have minimum of 50% marks in 10th and Intermidiate.

I have recently heard in the news that the permenant commission of the Indian Army has also been introduced for women. Is that correct????? And if yes, then what is the procedure for a woman to enter the Indian Army via permenant commission?????

Candidates successful in the written exam are then called for an interview by a Services Selection Board which evaluates a candidate's suitability for a career in the Indian Armed Forces. The SSB interview lasts for approximately a week, during which a candidate undergoes various physical and psychological tests to ascertain whether or not he is officer material. Candidates cleared by the SSB are finally admitted into the above mentioned academies, and after successful completion of training, they are inducted into the armed forces.

The education qualification for UPSC CDS exam is:

And the age limit is:

Indian Military Academy ( IMA ): This is for unmarried male candidates only whose age is between 18 – 23 years. They should have degree from a recognized university & should be medically fit.

Indian Naval Academy ( INA ) : For applying for this, only male unmarried candidates are eligible who are born not earlier than 2nd Jan 1990 & not later than 1st Jan 1993. They should have Degree in Engineering.

Air Force Academy ( AFA ) : This is applicable for male candidates only but marital status is not a concern. They should be born not earlier than 2nd Jan 1987 & not later than 1st Jan 1993.
