am i eligible to appear for gate after doing my MBA? i have a B.Tech in computer science and engg..

Eligibility for GATE exam:-

1. Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

2. Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

3. Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master’s degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.

Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AMICE(I) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.

So,You are eligible for GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.Every year conduct this exams by IIT .

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department are applicable for GATE Exam.There is no marks criteria.

You have B-Tech degree in Computer Science so you are applicable for GATE exam .

But if you have only MBA degree after other graduation degree then you are not applicable for GATE Exam.

Pattern of GATE exam is given below so you should prepare well on that topics-

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply here maximum time.There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

The validity of GATE score is two years .Pre final year student are NOT eligible for This year GATE exam.Only final year and pass out batch are eligible for GATE exam.

Eligibility for GATE :
1. Student must have 4years Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture after the 12th class.
2. The final year students belonging to any of the above course can also apply.
3. Student having Master’s degree in any of the braches like Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent can also apply.
4. The final year students perusing above courses are also eligible.

You are Eligible for Gate exam after B.tech.

GATE exam stands for graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidate should have completed the Graduation on Engineering with any stream from any recognized university.

Candidate who are pursuing final year of Graduation course in Engineering can also apply for this exam.

Candidate who are pursuing pre Final year of Engineering course are not eligible to apply for this exam.

There is no age criteria to appear for this exam.

One can apply for this exam at any age if he fulfill the required academic Criteria.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for GATE exam.

If you have already completed your Engineering in Computer Science then you will be eligible to apply for GATE Exam.To appear in this exam,you will need to fulfill only the educational qualification criteria.This is :-
-->>Your engineering degree should be from recognized university.
-->>Your degree should be approved from the AICTE.

After getting good score in GATE Exam you will able to take admission in these courses :-

~P.HD

Important :- Based on the GATE Score card,various public sector undertaking companies recruit their employees.Thus you will also able to get jobs in these companies.

Yes , Off Course you are eligible for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering After Completing B-Tech degree in Computer Science.........

You should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology /Architecture etc....

OR

You should have completed Master’s degree in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent....

There is no marks criteria....

Final Year student may also apply for GATE exam.....

There is no any age limit or any Attempt limit you can apply till you have not clear this exam......

The validity of GATE score is two years
