Am I eligible to appear IES examination with B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation?
i am studying engineering in gitam university,visakhapatnam specialization in electronics and instrumentation engineering.so,my question is "is my branch is eligible for indian engineering service(IES) or not?

yes! you are eligible.engineering graduate are all eligible.you have to match the syllabus with your subjects and make your fundamentals strong.thats it.you r done.any thing else?

A candidate should have completed engineering or should be a student of final year engineering.Also you should have 60% marks in graduation.
Your age should be between 21 to 29. So you are eligibel....... Best Of Luck!!!!!!!! |

the four stream of engineering branch from which the students are eligible for IES(Indian engineering services) are
* Civil Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Electronics & telecommunication Engineering so electronics and instrumentation is not mentioned there. but as electronics and communication engineering students are eligible then i think electronics and instrumentation students are also eligible. but for exact information contact with the respective authority. best wishes. |

yes, you are eligible to appear IES examination with B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation. as you know every branch of engg are allowed to appeared in the IES exam. though there have few papers for IES Exam. those are 1.civil engineering. 2.mechanical engg. 3.electrical engg. 4.electronics & communication engg. all the best............ |

There is no branch for electronics and instrumentation engg but there is electronics branch.However you are eligible for IES exam.

Yes you are eligible for IES (Indian Engineering Services)exams as per the eligiblity criteria. IES exams are conducted by UPSC. IES Exam Eligibility: Age Eligibility: You need to be between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st August, 2011. Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rules. yes you are eligible IES exam with your engineering degree in instrumentation.
IES(indian engineering services)exam is conducted by UPSC for engineers. it is conducted once in every year. eligibility of IES exam in terms of academic qualification is a bachelors degree in engineering from stream: Electrical Engineering Electronics and telecommunications Engineering civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering so candidate with E&I degree are also eligible. Yes a student of M.Sc(Electronics) is obviously eligible for IES exam. apart from academic qualification from engineering M.Sc qualification in streams wireless communication,electronics, radio physics are also eligible. so you can apply for IES exam. all the best |

IES that is Indian Engineering Services entrance exam is designed for recruitment of engineers in government services. IES exam is conducted once every year by UPSC.You can find Examination notifications are published in major newspaper and employment news in January / February and exam is conducted in June/ July every year.So after seeing notification ,you can apply through on line by paying examination fees. IES Exam Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit: Your age should be between 21-30 years on the first day of august of the year of examination. Educational Qualifications: You should be engineering graduate. If you are studying in last semester of engineering can also appear in entrance test but they are required to produce the proof of passing engineering degree. For some selected posts of engineering services, If you are holding MSc degree in wireless communications, electronics, radio physics & radio engineering. IES Exam Selection Procedure: IES Entrance test consists of two parts : Written Exam: there will be 5 papers in written test of 200 marks each as follows: Paper 1: General Ability Test (General Studies and General English), this will be objective type. Paper 2 & 3: Paper 2 & 3 will be objective type test of 200 marks each based on core engineering subjects . The subject comes under these papers are civil engineering / mechanical engg. / electrical engg. / electronics & telecommunication engg. Paper 4 & 5: paper 4 and 5 will be subjective tests of 200 marks each on core engineering subjects engineering / mechanical engg. / electrical engg. / electronics & telecommunication engg. Dear friend,
BBA student are not eligible for B.Ed course. Those candidate have completed graduation or post graduation from recognized university are applicable for B.Ed course. Your graduation or post graduation marks must be hold above 50% . For SC/ST candidate this marks is decreased to above 45% marks. Only Arts and Science departments are eligible for B.Ed course.There are some institute provide B.Ed course for B.Com and BBA candidates. There is no age criteria so any one who holds the above criteria are eligible for B.Ed course. Every university conduct their own entrance exam for B.Ed candidate selection. Thanks |
