I have done two years full time PGDM , at with MBA from an aicte approved institute in Jaipur. Am I eligible to appear in the UGCNet exam .

NET stands for National Eligibility Test .

The Educational Qualification required for NET exam is masters degree .Your masters degree marks must be above 55% . 5% marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST category.

If your degree is equivalent to Masters degree then you are eligible UGC NET exam.

There is a age criteria for Junior Research Fellowship .Your age should be below 28 years old. Age relaxation unto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .For the post of Lectureship , There is no upper age limit .

Pattern for UGC NET Exam-



All question papers are objective types in UGC NET exam and there is no negative marking in UGC NET exam .

For General candidates, the examination fee is Rs. 450/-; for Other Backward Classes fee is Rs. 225/- and for SC/ST/PWD candidates, it is Rs. 110/-.

PGDM is equivalent to MBA as i see most of people saying that PGDM is not equivalent to Mba ..Dilema in whether we can go for Net or not after doing PGDM ?
