Re: Am I eligible to apply for CTET after completion of B.Com?
CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test and entrance test is conducted by CBSE for recruitment as teacher in government schools.
The minimum eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with diploma in education degree. Candidates appearing for B.Ed degree are not eligible to appear for examination. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination without B.Ed degree. Re: Am I eligible to apply for CTET after completion of B.Com?
CTET refers to Central Teacher Eligibility Test and same examination is held twice every year by CBSE for recruitment of teachers affiliated to CBSE.
Being a B.Com degree holder and pursuing B.Ed degree course you are certainly eligible for appearing in CTET for becoming teacher for both groups i.e; Class I - Class V and Class VI - Class VIII after completing your B.Ed degree course with at least 50% ( 5% relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates ). For more details about CTET you can refer to the link www.ctet.nic.in. |
