Yes, You are applicable for CDS exam but after completion of your graduation degree.

CDS exam is conducted through SSB so you can prepare for SSB exam.

According to the Eligibility Criteria:

i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University.

ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE).

iii)For (AFA) you should have the degree of recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE)

i)For IMA:19-24 Years

ii)For OTA:19-23 Years

iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years

iv)For AFA :19-25 Years

It is to inform you that You can join CDS only after completing Graduation course in any stream.

-CDS{Combined Defence Service} exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Through this exam you can apply for:-

• Indian Military Academy(IMA)
  
• Indian Naval Academy(INA)
  
• Air Force Academy
  
• Officers Training Academy, OTA(for women only)

Basic Eligibility conditions for CDS:

For IMA and OTA:

• You must complete Your Graduation degree course in any discipline form a recognized University.

For Indian Naval Academy

• You should have Passed in your Engineering Graduation degree course or in B.sc Course with Physics and Maths as a compulsory Subjects.

For Air Force Academy

CDSE selection process is of 3 stages:

1. Written Exam (conduct by UPSC)

2. SSB Interview ( CONDUCT by Services Selection Board) Interview

CDSE Syllabus:

English:
It includes;
This section deals on words, grammar and usage, structure of English language etc.

General Knowledge:
It includes;
General Knowledge, including knowledge of current events of everyday observation, History of India, geography etc.

Elementary Mathematics:
It includes;
Arithmetic, Unitary method, Elementary Number Theory, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Mensuration etc.

C.D.S stand for COMBINE DEFENCE SERVICES.

Yes you are eligible for C.D.S exam after passing the graduation.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying C.D.S you can join Indian Defence service Exam.

Candidate who pass the graduation in stream is eligible for this exam.

Age of the candidate should be in between 19-24 year.

This exam is conducted in three stage:-
> Written exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

CDS stands for Combined defense services. this exam is conduct by UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility Criteria For CDS is

candidate should be completed graduation with sunject MATHS and PHYSICS, candidate who are appearing final year exam are also eligible

Age Limit

For IMA 19 to 24
For OTA 19 to 25
For NA 19 to 22
For AFA 19 to 23

Hi,

Since you are 12th pass, you are not eligible for CDS, as CDS requires graduation.

Secondly , you cannot apply for NDA either, where minimum qualification required is 12th because only male candidate can apply for it.

So, you will have to first complete graduation in order to apply for CDS.

CDS - combined defence services

UPSC conducts CDS exam for Indian Army, Navy and Air force.

Eligibility criteria for CDS-

Candidate should be an Indian.

Graduation from a recognised university.

Age --

For IMA - 19 years - 24 years
For Naval academy- 19years - 22years
For Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 years
For Air force academy - 19 years - 23 years.

CDS exam is for graduates and you are 10+2 .Hence you are not eligible for CDS exam.

For 10+2 pass there is NDA exam . If your age is below 19 years of age then you can apply for NDA exam if you want to join defence.

For NDA age limit is 16.5 to 19 years and you must be unmarried male.

If you want to apply for CDS then you have to wait till the completion of graduation then you will be eligible for it.

For CDS the age must be between 19 to 25 years .

In both the exams the selection is based on objective type paper , SSB interview and medical examination .

So be prepared for these tests if you want to become a officer in defence services.
