How can a B.A. 3rd year student with 70% marks (PCM) in 10+2 apply for CDS Exams (Flying Branch).


Hi
I am 19 years Old.I am a B.A. 3rd year student& have passed 10+2 with 70% in PCM.My height is 161.5cm.am i eligible for CDS exam and become a pilot.

The eligibility criteria to join the Flying Branch of Indian Air Force through Combined Defense Service Examination is as follows:
  • Applicant must be an Unmarried Male.
  • He must have attained the age of 19 years and must not be over 23 years.
  • Applicant must hold a bachelors degree in any discipline and must have studied Maths and Physics in the Higher Secondary level.
  • The minimum required height is 162.5 cm

The Combined Defense Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times a year.

You can apply for the FLYING BRANCH after the completion of your graduation through Combined defence service examination. This examination is conducted by the Union Public service commission twice a year. You can apply for the Indian Air force to get a job in Flying Branch.

Education Qualification
Candidate applying for the CDS examination should be graduate in any discipline form the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.
Candidate applying for the Indian Air force and Navy should have physics and Maths at 10+2.

Age Limit
Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy 19-25Years
Naval Academy 19-23 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years
