Am I eligible to get a government job after completion of degree through distance education?


I have complete my degree in distance education after 10th so am eligible to apply for the government job or not? Can you please give me the details on the minimum criteria which is followed? Awaiting to get the response soon as possible. Thanks!

Yes, Distance Education graduates are equally applicable for Government jobs just like Regular Campus education graduates.

However, from now onwards technical education courses pursued through distance medium will be invalid.

According to recent rules stated by UGC, if a student is pursuing any technical course from Distance medium, then it will be considered invalid.

However, all other courses are equally valid for getting government jobs.
