Yes you are eligible to sit for the IBPS PO Examination. The registration process of this year's IBPS PO exam started from July and it has already ended in the previous month. Now the exam is supposedly going to take place on 19th/20th/26th/27th Oct, 2013. If you have not applied this year then try your luck next year.

The previous 60% of marks at graduation level criteria has been slightly revised. Now instead any candidate with a valid degree can apply for this exam. It does not matters which subject you have chosen at graduation level, all that matters is whether you have secured the pass marks or not. SC/ST/PWD can avail the 5% exemption in marks.

Age Criteria:- 20-30 years.

Relaxation is available for the following candidates:-
  • SC/ST Candidates:- 5 years
  • OBC Candidates:- 3 years
  • PWD-Gen Candidates:- 10 years
  • PWD-OBC Candidates:- 13 years
  • PWD-SC/ST Candidates:- 15 years
Questions for the exam will come from the following sections:-
  • Reasoning
  • English Language
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • Computer Knowledge
IBPS only conducts the exam but the recruitment is done by the participating banks. A score card after passing the exam whether for Clerks, Probationary Officers or Specialist officers will be issued by the IBPS.

The validity of the score card is only one year and after that it will be of no use. However you can again sit for the IBPS bank exam to get its validity. You can also reappear for the exam to improve the score as well.

Following are participating banks:-

Central Bank of India, Dena Bank, United Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank, Allahabad Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, UCO Bank, Vijaya Bank, Bank of Maharahstra, Andhra Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Corporation Bank.

Hope this helps :-> :->
