Yes, you are eligible after completion of the course, since graduation is the basic qualification required. Your age must be less than 30 years. Selection will be done through CSAT and mains exam. One can attend CSAT at most 4 times. Further information on eligibility can be collected from UPSC portal.

IPS stands for Indian Police service.

Minimum educational qualification required for IPS Exam is Bachelor degree .There is not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation degree .

Yes , After completion of your B.Sc degree you are applicable for IPS exam .

Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates .Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

There is a restriction for attempts .The no attempts allowed for IPS exam is given below-

General Candidate can maximum 4 Times
OBC Candidate can Maximum 7 Times
SC/ST there is no attempt Limit

Physical eligibility criteria for IPS exam is given below -

Height-

Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm

Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm

Chest-

Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm ; Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

Eye sight-

6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye.

Blood pressure (High) - Age 23 – 123, age 24 – 124, age 25 –122, age 28 – 124, age 30 –125, age 32 – 126, age 34 – 127.

Ear-Good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment should not be more than 30 decibels.

Nasal-candidate should not stammer while speaking.
