Dear sir
I am pursuing a final year BE in electronics and communication.I have a average of 51%
i have a interest in servicing as ips officer by attending upsc exam but the problem is i have
an height of 6.3inch can i get appointment if i pass the exam

how to join in Indian army can i attend the cds,ssb exam plz say

dear friend,
what i would suggest you is to write the upsc exam. strive hard to score high to get into ips. once you get sufficient marks, then you would be selected. don't worry
and you can of course write the exams like cds to get into indian defense.
so go ahead where your heart says and where your interest lies. study hard to achieve your dream. all the very best. god bless you.

my suggestion is you can attempt civils services examination and you can get a very good score if you do so then you can be selected as IPS officer

Eligibility criteria for IPS exam:

• Minimum graduation degree in any stream
• Age should be 21 to 30 years for General category,21 to 33 years for OBC category,only minimum age is required for SC/ST category candidates
• should be Indian

If you fullfill with above requirement,you can apply for IPS exam i.e is civil service exam.In which all exam included like IAS,IPS,IFS.....

If you want to join in Indian Army,you can apply for NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:

• 12th standard with maths,physic and chemistry subjects as compulsory
• Age should be above 17years and below 21 years
• Indian

If you are fulfiil with above requirement,you can apply for NDA exam.

If you finished your graduation,you can apply for CDS exam,if you qualify in that exam,you will be getting job in Indian Army.

• Minimum graduation degree in any stream
• Age should be 21 to 30 years

you can join NDA go to any post office fill NDA application if you will clear written exam then you will be called for SSB and there after a medical examination

The IPS exam is conducted by the UPSC every year.

Education Qualification :-
Candidates who have completed there graduation are eligible to apply for the IPS exam.

Candidates who have appeared in the final year exam are also eligible to appear for the IPS exam.

age limit :-
Candidates having the minimum age 21 years and maximum age 30 years are eligible to appear for the IPS exam.

Physical Standard:
The physical standard required for the IPS exam is given below:

Height:
Minimum height required for men is 165 cm

Minimum height required for women is 150 cm

There is a relaxation in height for SC/ST,OBC,Gorkhas, Garhwalias, Assamese, Kumaonis, Nagaland Tribals etc. candidates for men it is 160cm and for women it is 145 cm.

So the above eligibility criteria is required for the IPS exam.you have completed your graduation

so you are eligible for IPS exam.

Main Examination - It consists of written examination and interview.

I have completed 2 and now I am studing Typewriting. But I can't complet Diploma In Computer Engineering. But I study Diploma in Computer Engineering. Please say some job names applicable for me.
