My ug degree are B.Sc physics my pg Degree are MCA and also with M.phil in cs.so may i eligible to join the post of lecturer in govt post after i finished my sled or net

i have been awarded ph d degree in july 2012 and its thesis has been submitted in dec 2008 . i have not net certificate .can i eligible for asstt.. professor

Any post graduation degree is good enough to apply for National Eligibility Test. You don't really need to worry about that since you have completed M.Phil and MCA. I would like to point out that if you have completed M.Phil before 10th July, 2009, then you are not required to appear for NET in order to become college lecturer.

However if completed after 10th July, 2009 then It would be mandatory to appear for National Eligibility Test. You must meet the criteria for percentage in order to apply for NET exam by University Grants Commission.

Here is the criteria for NET entrance exam.


Eligibility

1. You should be of Indian origin.

2. Must have completed post graduation in any stream.

3. You will need 55 percent marks in post graduation.

4. SC/ST candidates need 50 percent marks.

5. The final year students can also apply for NET.

6. But only if they can submit their degree within 2 years of appearing for NET.

7. Your NET subject should be related to post graduation. For example if applying for NET with MCA then you need to select Computer Science and Applications as the subject.

8. There is no restriction on number of attempts.


Age Limit

1. For JRF, age limit is 28 years.

2. There is no upper age limit for college lectureship.

Yes you become eligible for lecturership(which is a government job ) just when you clear your NET...But for NET you need to have 55%(General category/OBC) or 50%(SC/ST/PWD) in your post graduation,MCA in your case.

Also if you score above100 in NET ,you will qualify JRF,which means you will get scholarship.

As per AICTE Norms below is the Eligibility for the Asst Professor Jobs in Colleges

>> Post Graduation with Minimum 55% marks
and
>> UGC-NET/SET
or
>> Phd

Now in your case you should apply for the UGC NET exams.
You can choose the subject Computer Applications

ELIGIBILTY FOR THE UGC-NET exams:
>> Post Graduation pass with minimum 55% marks for the General and OBC candidates
minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates.

Sorry to say that with help of M.Phil Degree and MCA degree , you are not eligible for Assistant Professor in govt college.Because maximum no of college want NET qualified candidate or PHD degree holder.

You can join in govt college for Part time professor but not in full time professor.

But if you can apply in private college then you are eligible for the Post of lecturer.Because maximum no of Private Institute want masters degree.

In Private engineering college you are not eligible for Assistant professor for B-Tech candidate , because as per AICTE norms only M-Tech degree holder are eligible.

So you can try for MCA Institute.

YES, you are ELIGIBLE to apply for the Asst Professor jobs.

As per the AICTE below is the Minimum Eligibilty to apply for the Asst Professor Jobs in Colleges

Post Graduation Pass with Minimum 55% marks
and
UGC-NET Or SET qualified
or
Phd

Since you are Post Graduate and PHD qualified, so you can apply

First of all, I would like to tell you that you cannot eligible for joining the post of lecturer in government college. But, in private college, you are eligible for this post.

The eligibility criteria for this post are prescribed as below:-

* You must have passed post graduation in any stream with a minimum of 55% marks.

* you must be Indian citizenship.

* Age limit:- a) 28 yrs for the post of JRF.

b) for the post of college lecturership, there is no age limit.
