I have completed my B.Tech in Information Technology and I want to do M.Tech in Astrophysics. Am I eligible for it? If not, then what further should I do to pursue Masters in Astrophysics?

Eligibility to pursue M.Tech in Astrophysics:

>> Candidates should complete B.E or B.Tech in the relevant subject he/she wants to do M.Tech.
>> Candidates should get minimum 60% marks in B.Tech.
>>Candidates must have obtained valid GATE exam scores because admissions in M.Tech course are based on GATE exam.
>> Candidates age should be less than 28 years to pursue this course.

*** As you have completed B.Tech in Information Technology, you are not eligible to pursue M.Tech in Astrophysics course.

Yes, you can study M.Tech in Astrophysics after B.Tech in IT.

The basic eligibility required is a bachelor's level degree in any related stream with minimum 60% from any recognized university.

If you meet the requirements then you need to apply for entrance exams like GATE, CSIR NET, JEST, IIAST and etc.,
Based on your interest you need to attend any one of the entrance exam and score good marks in the exams.
