Yes , You are eligible for NDA exam because there is no percentage criteria.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA:-

Candidate must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Other criteria:

1. The candidate should be between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age

2. Your marital status should be single.

3. You should be a citizen of India.

Yes,you can appear for NDA exam.National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Closing date for application form is 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.

yes you are eligible for N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria:-

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.

Eligibility For NDA

In order to appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) you need to fulfill the following minimum conditions :-

1) You need to be a 12th pass out from a recognized board (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects if you want to join Navy or Air Force)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

There is no restriction of percentage for appearing in the NDA..you just merely need to be a 12th pass out..

The written exam will mainly test you on the following things :-

General Knowledge
English
Basic Maths

The next NDA exam will take place on 15th April,2012 for which the forms shall be available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012..

National Defence Academy Examination

Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 16½ to 19 years.

Marital Status and gender: Unmarried male candidates

Educational Qualification:
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Nationality - A candidate must be either
(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India).
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. However, the certificate of eligibility will not be necessary in the case of Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

Physical Fitness:
Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards.

Dear Friend,
NDA examination is conducted for the admission in the Naval wing, Air Force wing and Army wing of NDA.
To apply for the Air Force wing and the Naval wing of NDA the candidate should has passed class 12th with subject combination Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks.
To apply for the Army wing there is no marks criteria. Any stream candidate who has passed class 12th can apply.
The age limit criteria to apply for the NDA examination is that the candidate should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.
So as you have passed class 12th with 55% marks you can apply for the Army wing of the NDA.

Commencement of Course each year start from January and July...

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam required no particular percentage of marks in 12th with PCM.

NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e.ARMY, NAVY and AIR FORCE.

For Army wing of NDA you should either pass or appear for the final exam of 12th from any stream within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age.

For Naval and Air Force wing of NDA you should either pass or appear for the final exam of 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age.

Sorry, you are not eligible for NDA after scoring 55% in class 12th class examination.
