Hey friend,

The NDA exam is conducted for candidates to join in defence forces of India and this exam is conducted by UPSC and is held as NDA I and NDA II.

To join in NDA after passing HSC you are eligible for applying as per the education qualification needed.So,no need to worry about the education qualification needed as you are satisfying the education qualification.

The other standards which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the exam is that the candidate must satisfy the following:

-> Nationality

-> Martial Status

-> Age Limit

-> Physical Standard


To tell about detailed information regarding the above mentioned criteria's it is mentioned below for reference:

Eligibility Needed:

## Candidate should be a citizen of India

## The candidate should be a unmarried male candidate as per the Martial Status.

## The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

## The candidate should be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam.

Examination Pattern

Written Examination

1. Mathematics (Objective type) 300 Marks

2.General Ability Test (Objective type) 600 Marks

Total marks for written examination 900 Marks

Marks for SSB Interviews 900 Marks

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. The exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Through NDA exam you can get admission into 3 major defense wing:

>>Indian Army
>>Indian Navy
>>Indian Air Force.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1)AGE: The age of the candidates should be 16.5 and 19 years.

2)NATIONALITY: The candidates should be Indian.

3)EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:The candidates should have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized board.
For Army: in any stream;
For Navy/Air Force: 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

4)GENDER & MARTIAL STATUS:Only Unmarried Male candidates.

5)PHYSICAL STANDARD:Should be physically strong.
Sight:- better eye sight 6/6 and worse eye sight 6/9;
Hearing:- good haring power
Height and weight:

Eligibility and Criteria:

A candidate must have completed their 12th with physics, Chemistry and Maths with at least 60% form recognized board.

Age limit should be between 16.5-19 year.

A candidate should have Nationality of INDIA.
