Sir,i have completed my MCA with 66%, B.sc with 47%, inter with 43%, 10th with 72% and i belong to SC cateogery. Am i eligible for sbi po recruitment exam ?

Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university with minimum qualifying marks are eligible for SBI Bank PO exam.


Yes , You are applicable for SBI PO Exams because your graduation marks is above 47% (Not require any kind of percentage marks )

But your age must be in between 21 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.

The eligibility for PO is graduation. Post Graduation is not required. So, if you see in the notification that the minimum percentage should be 60% then of course your percentage does not match their criteria.

secondly, if sbi po will publish notification with no percentage criteria,they want only graduation degree then you are eligible.

Yeah you are eligible for SBI(State Bank of India) Probationary Officer exam. The candidates who are completed their graduation can be eligible for SBI PO exam and there is no restrictions on percentage. So you are eligible for SBI PO examination.


Eligibility details:-

SBI PO Exam Details:-

1. Educational Qualification:-

You need to possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The degree can be obtained in any stream of your choice but along with that it is important to secure at least 65% of marks in aggregate at graduation level.

There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates. They needs to get 60% of marks in aggregate instead.

2. Age Limit:-

The minimum age limit is 21 years. For general category candidates the upper age limit is 30 years.

3. Upper Age Limit Relaxation:-

There is upper age limit relaxation for the following categories:-

~SC/ST Candidates: 35 yrs.
~OBC Candidates: 33 yrs.
~PWD Candidates: 40 yrs.
~Ex-servicemen: 35 yrs.

4. Computer Knowledge:-

You need to know the basics of how to operate a computer. To prove your computer knowledge you need to show certificates. It will do if you have studied computer science at graduation level or had computer as one of your compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

5. Exam Pattern and Structure:-

Phase I is the written test which consists of objective test and descriptive test. The objective test covers the following areas: Test of English Language, General Awareness, Data analysis and interpretation, Reasoning. The descriptive test covers the following areas: English Language (comprehension, small outline, article and letter writing.

Phase II is the group discussion and interview session. You will be called for the phase II selection process only if you manage to secure good marks in Phase I. It is important to pass in both the phases and then marks of both the phases are aggregated and then a merit list is published based on which the selections are done.
