Here you haven't mentioned the post in SI so i am providing you the information about general eligibility criteria for SI post :

• Educational Qualification- Graduate in any discipline
  
• Age Criteria - 20 to 25
  
• Physical Standard Requirement
  • Height -More than 168 cm.The candidate with height more than 168 cm will get 3 extra points.
  • Chest- Minimum 81 to 85 cm
    
• Percentage criteria is not mentioned clearly any where but some sources say that you must have at least 60% in graduation to clear the eligibility criteria.

Since diploma is not considered as graduation degree (2 or 3 years after 10) , you are not eligible.

so deploma is not equal to degree.

i am perceiving btech final year am i eligible for si police department and i have a sports certificates which i had played national,2 universities,5 state tournaments and bc.e reservation and my father is retired asi police oficer which i can had children reservation please tell me sir

Sorry Friend, you are not eligible for the post in SI.

Because minimum Educational Qualification for SI post is Graduate in any discipline.

But you have diploma with backlogs so, you are not eligible.

to join as a sub inspector one need to satisfy certain basic qualifications which include
1. A bachelor degree from any stream
2. The minimum age for appearing is 20 and the maximum age limit for appearing in the exam is
-25 for a general category
-28 for Obc category
- 30 for sc and st candidate
-33 for ex- servicemen of obc
-35 for ex- servicemen of sc and st category
the exam consist of the aspirant appearing in two paper. The pattern for the preliminary paper are
PAPER 1
General awareness and general knowledge
numerical ability
reasoning
english comprehension
PAPER 2.
English comprehension
it is followed by main exam

The SUB-INSPECTOR post exams are conducted by their corresponding states.
the minimum educational requirement for this examination is , you must have graduation degree from a recognized college, whatever may be the stream is..

the age limit for this examination is 20-25 years,.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-
A candidate must have minimum height 168 cm,.there is 5cm relaxation for the ST candidates.

Chest- 79cm-84cm,.
there are relaxation of 2cm in chest for the sc\st candidates.

So,you are eligible for this examination, as you have not graduation degree.

I'm scheduled caste person and i completed b.e. mechanical engineering with one backlog since my college is affiliated to andhra university so i don't have the original degree yet. And I'm eligible to sub inspection post in ap? Plz tell me the necessary information. Thanks for hearing me.
