IBPS exam is conduct for BANK CLERK for 17 banks .

Only those candidate have completed graduation are eligible for IBPS PO exam.

Also all candidate age must be in between 21 to 40 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

Selection process for IBPS exam-
1) Written Test
2)Personal Interview

For written test you must be care about mathematics and general knowledge.

After completing B.Tech you are eligible for IBPS special officer recruitment but in the final year of graduation you are not eligible for IBPS special officer recruitment.

For IBPS special officer recruitment you have passed graduation in 2011.final year graduation student are not allowed for this exam.

There are two scale in IBPS special officer recruitment-

Scale I-Agri.Field officer,IT officer,Law officer,Technical officer,HR/Personial officer,Marketing officer

Scale II- IT officer,Low officer

Age limit for these scales is 20-35 year.

Educational qualification for these posts are different but minimum you should have graduation degree.

To get eligible for IBPS special officer service you have to fulfill following requirements..

Eligibility for IBPS special officer post:-

1.Candidate has to complete the graduation at least in any trade.

2.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate through out the career.

3.Age should be in between 21-35 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

4.Candidate should be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
So, after completion of B.tech course you can apply for this service..

a degree of electronics & communication can apply for both category (01 & 05) IT OFFICERS AND TECHNICAL OFFICERS

there is an age limit for IBPS special officer recruitment...it is 18-23years..and it is only for under graduate students....so i think after complete your B.Tech final, you are not eligible to give this exam...

Is there any other degree required for ibps specialist officer exam other than graduation for a specific post like agriculture,It etc.

NO, you are eligible when you complete your graduation . before then you are treated as under graduate. Undergraduate are not eligible for Specialist Officer or even PO exam of any bank.

Yes you are eligible you can appear for Specialist officer exam conducted by IBPS.

Syllabus of Specialist Officers - IT Officer (Scale I), Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), Technical Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I), Marketing Officer (Scale I), IT Officer (Scale II)
1. Reasoning: 50 questions of 50 marks
2. English Language: 50 questions of 25 marks
3. Professional knowledge: 50 questions of 75 marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions of 50 marks
Total: 200 marks (Duration: 2 hours)

The Test paper will be objective – multiple type questions. The above tests except the Test of English Language will be printed bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

Educational qualification
IT Officer (Scale I/II): Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications from a recognized University/ Institution OR Graduate from a recognized university having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level. For Scale II I year minimum qualification required.
