Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET) is an examination for lecturership in Universities and Institutes of Maharashtra. University Grants commission(UGC) has authorized the State Governments/State Agencies on behalf of the State .

Important Dates
Date of SET: second week of the month of August, 2011

Availability of Application Forms: last week of May to third week of the month of June, 2011

last Date for hard copy submission: fourth week of June, 2011

SET - State Eligibility Test

Set exam is conducted by UGC(University Grants Commission).

* Candidates should have graduation from a recognized university.
* Candidates should have 50% at graduation.

* Last date for online Submissions sept 14,2011
* Online form submissions starts on August 17,2011
* Date of SET exam on November 27,2011
* Last Date of Hard Copy Submission sept. 20, 2011

the time for the year 2011 is over and results too
are out and u have to wait for the notification
the SET is conducted state wisw and there are
more chances for them NET and SET are conducted by UNIVERSITY
GRANTS COMMISSION. for all the datails go to http://www.ugc.ac.in and check for upcomings.
