Eligibility Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation. Quote:
Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions. For preparations:- Books you should refer R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Composition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS. |

AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST (AFCAT)
SCHEME OF SYLLABUS & EXAMPLE OF QUESTIONS The scheme of syllabus and examples of questions are given in the following paragraphs:- SCHEME OF SYLLABUS1. The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each. For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. The total time allotted for the paper is two hours. 2. Each Question Paper will have questions from the following topics:- (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability. you should refer R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude. |

AFCAT- Air Force Common Admission Test
Indian Air Force conduct exam for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and permanent/Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches. Candidate should have Graduates degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks all papers and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks all papers. Male and Female both can apply for afcat exam. Age should be between 19 to 23 years. These are good books for AFCAT exam-- |

AFCAT stand for Air Force Common Admission Test This exam is conducted for candidates to join in Indian Air Force.This exam is conducted for 3 branches in IAF and they may include such as: Ground Duty Branch Flying Branch Technical Branch For writing this exam the candidate need to satisfy certain eligibility conditions for the respected branch and they may include such as: Ground Duty Branch: The candidates who wish to apply for this should be between 20-27 years of age. The candidate must have the PG or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks. Flying Branch: The candidate should have a age limit of 19-23 years. The candidate must have the B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Technical Branch: The age limit for joining in this branch is that the candidate must have 18-28 years of age The education qualification for the branch is that the candidate must have done Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
