I want to know that under special circustances can a 11th pass get the chance to appear in iit. You see im rather in a hurry!

no way an 11th pass student can write iitjee.
you have to clear 12th for writing jee or should be in 12th class,
i would advice you to prepare real hard and all the best for your future

Hehe Thats called determination and i guess you have it!!

But here is the bad news, No You Cant answer IIT JEE if you are in 11th. Since they ask for your certificates of 10th etc and analyse your history before they can offer you a chance to sit in the exam.

But here is the Good News!!
You can answer AIEEE if possible. Many of my friends have done that. I know you wont be able to get admission but you can experiece AIEEE in 11th itself!! And its very easy to do so apply for AIEEE send your form get the admit card and directly sit for the exam. Bingo!!

What actually do you mean by 'Special circumstances' I am unable to understand.

However,in no way class 11 student are eligible for appearing for IIT-JEE.The minimum eligibility criteria for it is class 12 passed with atleast 60% aggregate in class 12 along with PCM.And according to latest NEWS from the year 2011 or 2012 the minimum eligibility criteria will increase up to 80% or 85% in class 12 along with PCM.However,the final decision is still pending on HRD minister's desk.


I think you are talking about something like that of 'S. Chandrasekhar who is just 17 years old And he has completed his M. Tech,Computer science degree course from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, in the month of May, 2008.


So here I would like to tell you that these are some special cases,which we known as 'Miracle' and we can say S. Chandrasekhar a 'GOD gifted' person.There is some special institution or trust or society who search for these types of people to provide them full support.For example- 'MENSA' it is a organisation which works for people with high IQ level or have some out standing talent like- S. Chandrasekhar.

The only earliest way to appear for IIT-JEE is that you can appear for it while appearing in class 12.

by special circumstances i mean if i score above 85 in 11th and complete the studies of iit as well can i give the exam of iit?

sorry to say you that 11th class appering students are not eligible to sit for IIT exam. one must have to clear 12th with more than 60% which is the minimum criteria for sitting inthe exam

a students appearing for 12th board or a student already completed 12th with 60% can apply for it........

i can understand your feeling but you can apply for it as you are now in 12th but study for it this year and give the exam for 2011 and crack it in the first attemt...

actually i wanna prove that age is no barrier whan true determination is with a determined person. so i think iit is the best option for thisi amm desperately wating for an optimistic reply that is good and practical.

what you are asking is impossible,
as the major part of the iit syllabus is from 12th class there is no way that 11th pass student can apply for iit,
if you are in 12th class and applying for iit before your board exams then it is an different thing

i can understand your excitement for giving this exam......but dear this exam is not so easy.......if you really wanna crack this you have to do lots of preparation.......

and you can give this exam only if you have passed 12th with 60% or appeared for 12th board.....you you will be eligible for this exam next year that is 2011....

till then prepare more for this exam......

you will have to wait for 1 year for raking on IIT JEE exam.since you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria so you cannot appear this year but next year you will be able to do it.

at any cost or at any circumstances there is no any probability to give the exam of the iit jee,only after the 11th,you can give the exam after or in the 12th exam,consider you must have 60% marks in the 12th.

No, you can't appear in IITJEE

Sorry but you can't say that 85% in class 11th is a special thing.

So better try after class 12th.

Sorry, Eligibility is 12th pass or appearing not more than 2years old.
you need to take physics, chemistry,maths in your 12th pass out.

For Students like you there is a Way which is known "Olympiads" !

The entrance or the platform where Brilliant students like you find Wings to there dearms and Aspirations.

Olypiads is conducted in Mainly Mathematics, Physics,Chemistry, Biology, Astrology and Computer Science.

There are three stages of it.

I am taking Example of MAthematics which is most famous.

1) RMO: Regional MAthematical Olympiads, which is held at state level and open to all students of that particular region.

2) NMO: Candidates who qualify RMO, appears for National Mathematical Olympiads.

3) INMO: 30-35 Candidates are selected from those who qualify NMO, and are trained at homi bhabha centre for science education, Mumbai. Out of them maximum 6 are selected for INMO to represent there country India in INMO, held in various countries.

It is just like "Olympics" games, there is Bronze, Silver and Gold medals, representing our country INDIA, world wide fame for Winners many more.

Candidates who dont able to qualify at International Level but National level also have good valuation.

They find Direct Admission into Institutes of National Importance like- IISER, IISc, homi bhabha centre for science education, IIT's ETC. they are also offered KVPY and many more.

Procedure of subjects other then Maths procedure is slightly different.

Admission into an IIT requires a candidate to complete his 12th apriori.So even if you write the written exams , admission would not be possible.

no freind you cant appear to iit exam after passing 1st year becoze eligibilty for giving iit entrance test is that a student should be 12 th passed with 60 % marks in his 12th boards

Dear,you have a great determination but the eligibility of iit is 12th pass candidates with 60% marks,and still you are not eligible for it so don't try for it otherwise it is only the wasting of money nothing more.However you can apply for different olympaid test.

Yes ofcourse you can give the exam but you will not be eligible to get the admission!!!!

divy i am happy at your confidence in 11 class to crack iit jee. its toughest compition in india and its extremally amaging to see your confidence
but you have more time to practise for it
in generally a student have only 2 chance for appear in iit, 1 with the 12th and 2 just next year
so prepare hard for it and get it in 1 chance

First of all let me if you have Browesed the Official website of OLYPIADS, if not first do that you will get inspired after Browsing the whole site, which is most Important.

Candidate who opt for OLYPIADS never do so to win that competetion, mainly they do so because of there passion to any subject of OLYPIADS or those who want to achieve something diffrent, I mean different attitude.

Whe I was appeared for RMO nothing was there in Mind to win or else just being passionate about Mathematics which fourced me to do so, and at that time I also dont know what it was.

However, Students who Crack OLYPIADS we can say they are not like general students they are of extra Briliancy, in 80% cases who crack OLYPIADSeither at national level or International remains in TOP rankers of IITJEE and BITSAT also.

Only 1 Institute is in My Mind which is best and Benmarcking performer in training students for OLYPIADS and that institute is no-other then FITJEE.

Just log on to Official website of FITJEE (http://www.fiitjee.com/ ) and find admission details for that.

I think the package would be costly, but if you perform well in Admission Test Scholarship Scheme is also available for you.

yeah u can appear for IIT JEE entrance exam ,but even though if u get enough well marks and rank under ur respective categary u can't take admission it iits.
actually appearing in exam it self is illegal. u need to pass +2

no, 11th passed student cannot give iit exam. You must be appearing or passed in 12 class to become eligible for the exam. Also the exam involves many questions related to 12th class syllabus. How will you answer them when you are studying in 11th and had never seen such type of questions. You must start your preparation and give exam next year.

No,by no means at all.
A 10+2 degree is necessary for getting admitted in IIT.
Clearing IITJEE examination,being held every year,is also vital for the purpose.

Dear friend it is not possible to attempt for an IIT exam in class 11th as you have to fill all your details of 12th pass and also you should have to send some documents.

However there are two chances for IIT after 12th.
You can take benefit of those two chances.

SO try it after 12th.
