1. The age limit for majority of government job entrance examination is 21-32 years and in case of State PSC upper age limit is 37 years. If you will add upper age relaxation then also, you can not apply.

2. There is no upper age limit for National Eligibility Test for Lectureship. You can apply for NET exam and clear it to become lecturer in government college. You need to have 55% marks in master's degree to apply for NET exam.

3. You can apply for June 2017 CBSE NET exam before 8th March, 2017.

No, you are not eligible for any government job entrance examination at age of 46 years except National Eligibility Test. National Eligibility Test is conducted by CBSE on behalf of University Grants Commission twice every year in June and December respectively for Junior Research Fellowship and lectureship.

For National Eligibility Test, candidate must have done master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. You should have at least 55% marks in master's degree.

No, you cannot apply for any government jobs as most of the government jobs that are held for banks, Income tax, civil services etc , maximum age to apply is 30 years.

There are few government jobs which are advertised for higher positions where ven 46 years old can apply, but that require good amount of experience.

Candidate whose age is 46 years is not eligible for any government job post except lectureship in government college.

You can apply for National Eligibility Test for Lectureship.

Eligibility criteria for NET exam is:

~There is no age limit for lectureship.

As per your age criteria, you can apply for lectureship post but you should qualify in UGC NET exam.

But you masters degree marks is above 55%.
