I am a commerce student and can i join in indian army.?

You have to pass some written exams and some physical tests also to enter in Indian Army....
If you pass these tests then You will be selected for Training....

Yes, a commerce student can join Indian Army. If you have passed +2 level of examination, you may get in through NDA(National Defence Academy). The NDA entrance exam is conducted by UPSC. The age limit for the same is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
If you are a commerce graduate, you may apply for IMA (Indian Military Academy).To join IMA, you will have to appear for CDS exam, conducted by UPSC. The eligible age for writing the exam is 19-24. years.
An individual with a bachelor degree from a recognised institute can also join Indian Army through short service commission in the non-technical department.

commerece students can join indian army for sure...There are various entry schemes for indian army...like UES (university entry scheme) which you require to fulfil its criteria on the basis of your marks you have secured in the graduation level...If you qualify then shortlisted candidates will be called for interview...if you qualify the interviwew,then you will be called for SSB exam(service selection Board)...there you have to qualify various situaton reaction test,GDs,PIs,picture perperception tests,and Ground tests...if you get Selected you have to medically examined by them...Then only you can join the Indian Army...

you can join indian army by giving UPSC exam .Selection procedure comprises of a written test, conducted by UPSC, followed by group test, psychological test and a personal interview conducted by the Service Selection Boards. UPSC holds a competitive examination twice every year for entry into Indian Armed Forces through National Defence Academy in Khadakwasla near Pune. For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Notification of the examination appears in the Employment News/Rojgar Samachar 5-6 months before the date of the examination. The examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

When you want to join navy you must first passout your 12 and then only think for it. As minimum qualification required for it is 12 only either for higher post or posts like soldier.After 12 you can appear for UPSC NDA exam.
You can also appear for exmas conducted by army from time to time for the post of soldiers.
There is also different recruitments after graduation

Yes, you can join the Indian army without maths and science to only that stream where science is not needed.

>>12TH passout commerce students can give NDA( National Defence Academy) entrance examination conducted by UPSE( Unoion Public Service Commition) in the month of april or august. In NDA examination commerce students can only aply for Indian Army but not for Indian Navy or Airforce. Age limit for this examonation is 16 1/2 to 19 yr on the date of examination. Last Date for applying up coming exam( i.e NDA-1) IS 15 november.

Further if you are a graduate then you can join army from SSC ( Short Service Commition)

Since you have NCC certificate it will help you for joining the army.
You can apprar for the CDS exam which is conducted by upsc eachyear twice.
This time you missed the chance but you can apply for it next time.

YEs, there is procedure for the NCC B and C certificate holders to join NDA directly.
You can Join NDA also through appearing for this exam

You can join Indian Army, After passing 12th from Commerce.

If you really want to join Army, then appear in NDA exams. If you clear the NDA entrance examination, then you can join Army.

So, NDA Is the Best route for you to join the Indian Army. So, dont worry just prepare yourself for NDA entrance exams.

After clear the exams, you have to face Physical exams, if you clear both, then you definately get a chance, to enter in Army.

So, please work hard for NDA exams, if you really get job in Army.
