Whether final year BE(ECE) student can apply for BHEL exam or not? if eligible i want to apply for the exam.

Yes of course a final year student of BE in ECE can apply for BHEL exam for this you have to clear a written exam and then you have to qualify an interview then you can select for job in BHEL.

I am giving you certain details regarding your application for the BHEL exam. From this year some of the top PSU's have adopted the recruitment through GATE procedure.

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering. Some of the other details about GATE are :

Eligibility Criteria for the GATE 2012 :

1. A candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university or college.

2. Pre-final year students cannot apply, however the final year appearing students can apply for the GATE exam.

3. No limit to the number of attempts.

4. The minimum age of the candidate at the time of applying should be 21 years.


Since you are a candidate of B.E in ECE, you can definitely apply for the GATE exam, and get yourself recruited in BHEL based on the GATE score and rank you secure.

Important GATE 2012 dates:

1. Commencement of online submission - 12 September 2011.

2. Last date to submit online application - 21 October 2011.

3. Date for the Online examination - 29 January 2012.

4. Exam date for the offline version - 12 February 2012.

5. Declaration of results - 15 March 2012.
