NO Final year students cannot apply for BHEL recruitment exam
u can apply only when u have completed your b.tech and final semester marksheet is in your hand....

no final year electronics and communication engineering students can not apply for BHEL examination. because you will not get the final year result at the time of BHEL interview. you can not appear in the interview without your original degree certificate.

How to apply

Download the Triplicate SBI Challan copy (Click here). and fill the required details.

* An Applicant’s copy
* BHEL copy
* Bank copy

After filling the details in the above challan, it has to be deposited with the fee of Rs. 300/- at any of the SBI branches all over the country.After submitting the application ONLINE, a unique Acknowledgement Number will be allotted to the candidate and he/she will then be required to download two copies of the acknowledgement slip.

* Acknowledgement Slip, duly signed by the applicant and with his/her recent photograph pasted on the slip
* BHEL Challan copy
* Category certificates
* Experience Certificate (if claiming age-relaxation)
* Self-certificate by Dependant of Deceased Employee (if applicable)

Yes, b.tech final year student can apply for the BHEL exam. The exam consists of 240 multiple choice questions. These questions devided into two sections first section called general aptitude, verbal,non-varbal,logical. the second section consists of technical questions for their respective branches.
So if you are interested for applying it then go for it.

You can fill application form for BHEl exam after the completing of your graduation.
the form is published after the month of July.
so you are eligible for the BHEL exam.

As you said you are pursuing B-tech in ece stream,and your in final semister,you can apply for BHEL recruitment notification ,if they mention that final year students of ECE are can also apply.if they mention in that way ,you can proceed otherwise better to drop now and apply when you will get a chance.but i think for BHEL they will ask 65% marks aggregate including in all semister, without backlogs........

because they will want to see your original final year certificate at the time of interview.

at that time you will get rejected....so you have to sit next year when you will get your final year certificate....

Eligibility & Qualifications

Engineer trainee: Full time regular Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized Indian university/institute in the disciplines of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum 65% marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters.

Supervisor trainee: Full time regular Diploma in engineering from a recognized Indian University/Institute in the discipline of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of all years/semesters.

You must be Graduate Enough to Join BHEL (Or to apply for it.)

Final year students can't Give this Exam because For facing the Interview For BHEL you need to be Passed Final student.

At the time of your Final year of Engineering you would not able to Show them Your mark sheet at the Time of your Interview, So its better to Apply for BHEL After your Engineering.

Yes, final year graduate students can also appear for this exam.
Futher instruction are given below :

Engineer Trainee : 600 posts

Educational Qualification : Engineering graduates in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics with at least 65% marks
Stipend During Training : Rs.20600/- for one year
Age Limit : 27 – 29 years
Selection: Through Written Test on 31/10/2011

Supervisor Trainee : 800 posts
Educational Qualification : Diploma in Engineering with at least 65% marks
Age Limit : 27 years
Selection: Through Written Test on 24/10/2011
Stipend During Training : Rs.12300/- for one year

How to Apply: Interested Candidates must apply online at BHEL website only up to 20/09/2011. The printout of the online application must be sent to the address given below along with recent photograph pasted on the slip along with payment copy and certificates
