can appear for GATE who have 55% in 12th class ?

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to give GATE Exam soon after the completion of your 12th class with 55% of marks.

The reason being you should have completed your Graduation in Engineering as the minimum academic qualification in order to be eligible to apply for GATE Exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.This exam is being conducted IITs in order go give admission for M.Tech course in various colleges in India.

Candidate should have completed Engineering course to apply for this Exam.

No percentage of marks required for the candidates in Engineering to fulfill the eligibility.

There is no upper age limit to apply for this Exam.

There is no limit on number of attempts for this Exam. You can take this exam as many times as you wanted.

The validity of the GATE score card is for 2 years.

So, I suggest you to complete your Engineering first with the stream which you are interested.

Carry out your preparation for GATE Exam right from the 2nd year of your Engineering course.

Attend for this exam while pursuing final year or after completion of your Engineering course also.

why not Ritam..
definitely you can...criteria followed for writing GATE examination is that you should be a 4th year engineering student...it has nothing to do with your 12th marks....the only criteria is that you should pass your 12th standard board exam...

which compitative exam which has starting sallary 75000 rupees, should give after my hsc exam with 50 percent marks?

No you can't write GATE exam after 12th. You need to be a graduate and then only you can write the Gate exam.
