Re: Can I appear for IES exam after passing B.Tech? What is the syllabus?
hi
this is not possible to answer your query as you haven’t mentioned your branch in which you are pursuing your engineering in. the branches that are eligible for giving the Indian Engineering Services are mechanical engineering civil engineering electrical engineering electronics and communication engineering if your branch is amongst the branches mentioned above, then you are eligible for giving the IEs exam. the age limit for giving the exam is that you should be under 21-30 years of age for giving the exam. a relaxation of 3 years is given to the students of obc category and a relaxation of 5 years is given to the candidates of sc/st category.
