HII..my birth of date is 22/3/1991..
i am doing b.com honours ..final year..
i have done my 12th..in 2008
can i give or apply for the civil service exam..which will be conducted in this year(2011)

As your date of birth is 22nd march 1991, you are not eligible for CIVIL SERVICES EXAM 2011, because for that your age should lie in between 21-30 years on 1st july of 2011, which you wont have.
If you are doing B.Com honours then it will be better for you to take economics as main subject for next year.

here is the eligibility criteria for applying in civil service exams

1.You must be an Indian citizen.


2.You should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.


3.You should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on August 1 of the year of examination. Due age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. For details, see Employment Notice.

The Civil services examination is conducted by UPSC in every year.
The minimum eligibility criteria to appear in the Civil services examination.
1. Graduation in any discipline from a recognize university.
2. The age must be between 21 to 30 years.
If your date of birth is 22/3/1991 then you are not eligible for Civil services examination in this year because you not complete 21 year of age. You can appear in the next year.

The CIVIL SERVICE EXAM is conducted by UPSC in every year.

Those are graduate are applicable for civil service exam.

But your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is provide 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidate.

Yes , B.COM graduate are eligible for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM.

The candidate should have a graduate degree in any desire subject from recognized university.

The candidate age should between 21 years to 30 years.

Final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

There is no minimum marks required for this examination.

Graduation is enough to appear for this examination.

Civil Service Examination consist of Preliminary,Main and Interview.

This year preliminary examination was already completed.So apply for next year examination.Next year notification of the details are already updated in the official website.

Civil service exam conducted once in a year by UPSC

This exam is conducted the government to recruit the government posts.
For this exam you must be indian
You must have graduation in stream from recognised university.
And your age limit is 21-30 yrs relaxation for OBC 3yrs and SC/ST 5 yrs.
And number of attempts ; General 4 , OBC 7, SC/ST no limit
