Can I apply for IBPS Clerical exam after B.Com External from KSOU?


Sir pls let me know that can I apply for ibps clerical exam.....I have done b.com external from ksou university from karnataka???? pls let me know soon......plss

You have done B.Com from KSOU so you are eligible for IBPS clerical exam. Because KSOU degree is recognized by UGC.

I have attached the document regarding UGC approval of KSOU.

If you have completed graduation degree from recognized university then you are eligible for IBPS CWE clerk exam. Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidate.

# IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personal Selection

# IBPS is primarily meant for conducting a common competitive examination for the post of clerk in all nationalised banks except State Bank of India (SBI). Actually, State Bank of India conducted its own competitive examination for selection.

# As per your educational qualification, you are fully eligible for IBPS Clerical Examination. Please note that candidate have completed 10+2 in any stream from any recognised board is considered eligible for IBPS Clerical Examination.

# Please keep in mind that you are presently B.Com. degree holder, in this way, you are also eligible for IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) Examination.


# So, presently you are eligible for following IBPS Examinations:

* IBPS Bank Clerical Examination
* IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) Examination


# Prescribed age limit for IBPS Bank Clerical Examination is as follows:

* 18-27 years for General category
* 18-30 years for OBC category
* 18-32 years for SC/ST category
* 18-37 years for Physically Handicapped category


# Prescribed age limit for IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) Examination is as follows:

# Different sections of Written objective type test are:

* Quantitative Aptitude
* English Language
* Reasoning Ability
* General Studies & Current Affairs with special reference to economy, banking sector etc.
* Computer Knowledge

Here each section carry 40 questions with total 40 marks.

KSOU stands for the Karnataka State Open University. This university is approved by University Grants Commission and Distance Education council. So your degree is valid for the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common written examination for post of clerks in different nationalized banks.

For clerk post minimum of graduation in any stream is required. The age limit is 20-28 years with relaxation in upper age to reserved category. Online application will commence from 11th August.

The minimum qualification for IBPS clerical exam is 12th class with 60% marks. So, you can apply for the IBPS Clerical exam. The graduate candidate can apply only if he/she scored more than 40% marks in graduation.
