hello my age is 24 i have completed my bsc it with 60 % can i apply for merchant navy and what will be the procedure fr it .. plz reply

To join Merchant navy for the graduation level candidates the examination is conducted by the UPSC as CDS.The examination is conducted twice in a year.

The examination is conducted in Written and SSB . The eligibility criteria for the examination is :-
Candidates who have passed the graduation in Physics or Mathematics or Engineering stream can apply for the Navy. The age of candidates must be between 19-23 years.

The written examination consists questions of English , General Knowledge and General Science also from mathematics. The candidate who qualify in the written are eligible for the SSB.

So as your age is greater than 23 years So you cannot apply for the Navy but still if you have interest in Defence you can go with Indian Army and OTA.
