No, it is not possible to become an IPS officer after completion of your 3 years Diploma in Hospitality even if you have 10 years of experience as an hotelier. To be eligible to apply for an IPS examination, you should have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university. You should be within 21 to 32 years of age to be eligible to apply for IPS examination. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. If you have completed your diploma then you are not eligible for the IPS exam because graduation from recognized university is required to become IPS.

IPS stands for the Indian Police Service. If you want to become an IPS officer then you need to qualify the following eligibility.
Eligibility for IPS exam.
You should have Indian citizenship proof.
You should have a graduation from recognized university. If you have completed your diploma then you are not eligible.
Your age limit should be atleast 21 years.
You should be physically and mentally fit.
