Re: Can I do diploma after passing 11th commerce?
You can drop out and join for a diploma course if you want. But I am totally against it. Even though I am not a great fan of university degrees and entrances it helps you to get places which you won’t otherwise. I am just assuming that you think degree is the only way. No its not, it used to be one of the way. But it is not anymore. Especially to become a Computer Programmer nothing is stopping you. A laptop and a good internet connection are all you need. If your self learning is backed up with a degree it is going to be great.
Don’t get tired now. There is a long way ahead of you. Yes, it's a rat race for entrances and marks, but don’t get deep into it. Always give importance to learning. Basically anyone can get all the important details by visiting the best HRMS software in Kolkata and related things. Forget the diploma and start programming. Develop aptitude and logical reasoning. As far as I understood you are talking about the 3 years diploma in CS. You may take it but you will lose your one year. It is for students after the 10th. As you are already done with your 11th, you may lose a year. Those who opt for such courses are given lateral entry in 2nd year of clg. But even for that you need to appear for JEE Mains. Govt institutes will require you to clear the cut offs. I am not sure but may be some private insitutes accept you directly in 2nd year after this even if you score bad in Jee. I hope it helps. First of all congratulations on scoring such a good percentile , diploma is a 3 year course after SSC. As we all know Engineering is a 4 year degree course. So , basically a person can do diploma and get admission in B.E. directly in 2nd year of Engineering , whereas if you go via HSC you will start from the 1st year of Engineering. And yes, diploma holders can obviously apply for B.E. depending on the percentile and overall grades. Where you wanna go , depends on you , both of them have their pros and cons , take admission thinking in mind that will this benefit me in future ?. Diploma holders get a certificate as well as HSC ones. Here in HSC , you have an option of selecting the Bi-focals subject which are offered by very few institutes. The no. of seats are less and the cut-offs are high. So , if you take that Bi-focal subject and score 90%+ or more you will get an additional certificate from your college whereas in diploma you will get experience for making projects at an early age, that will help you with your thought process. You see both of them have their own benefits. Depending on your goals you can choose one. Keep in touch with different colleges and visit them to have more info. Hope this answer helps. Thank you. All the best for the future. |
