i did bsc it at 2010 and mca this year. Can i get a good job...? Where my bsc it percentage is 71 and mca percentage is 63.

Yes, you can try for jobs with reputed firms like Infosys, Accenture, Dell, etc. In government sector, you can apply for most of the job positions notified for CSE graduates. CDIT, C-DAC, etc are some of the organizations where you can apply for jobs. Also you can join as MT/SO in banks. You can also attend JTO exam conducted by BSNL.

I must say that your chances are very bright. You did extremely well in Bachelor of Science and even in MCA. However a lot also depends on how you fared in 10th and 12th standard.


The IT companies are very strict in hiring candidates. They look through your performance starting from Class 10th to post graduation before hiring you. Each company in India has its own criteria to hire a candidate.


For example Infosys need a ideal cadidate to have scored 60 percent marks throughout the academic career. Which means that 60 percent in 10th, 12th, graduation and post graduation. If you meet the criteria in any 2/3 areas.


HCL on the other hand requires candidate to score 65 percent throughout the academic career. Similarly Wipro too demands 65 percent. The companies are very strict with the required percentage. Even if you failed to meet the criteria by 1 percent they will not consider you for the job.


If your performance is also good in 10th and 12th standard then I don't see any problem for you. Below is the list of companies where you can apply for the job:

Well you B.Sc. and MCA percentages are really good. So just participate in the campus placements of your university. Mostly companies like TCS, IBM, Infosys, etc. want people with minimum 60% all through. So you mentioned your B.Sc. and MCA percentages, but you did not mention higher secondary and class 10 percentages. In any company you go such percentages will matter too and that too to be above 60%. So if you have that, then most companies will be open too. You can try Convergys, Google, TCS, IBM, and much more. Go ahead.

A candidate who have completed their Bachelor Degree in BCA, BBA, B.Com, BSc etc. can apply for MCA......

No, you can't do MBA after copleting diploma.
you should have completed graduation to apply for MBA.
Today the demand of MCA student are more then Msc IT student so, it is batter to choose MCA.......
