Gap between studies is not a problem in obtaining a good job. But in case of government jobs, candidates up to a specific age limit will be preferred. In normal case it will be 30 years for central government jobs. You can apply for Management trainee positions in CLL, HAL, etc. In private sector, skills of the candidate percentage of marks will be considered more than study gap etc.

Re: Can I get a good job while pursuing MBA?
Hello,
Due to your year gap there, there will be a problem in getting a good job in corporate sector. Most top level corporate sectors have a tolerance for a maximum of 2 years. But you can go for graphic designing or web designing or programming jobs in different small companies. Here for the companies, there is no need to see the the year gaps. They are only interested in the work you have done regarding this field. So if you do not have training in any of the criteria I mentioned, then go for it along with your MBA. |
