i am doing final year BE-ECE.so i want to get a government job means what can i do for that and which exam is suitable for that?

You can appear for the UPSC examination. That will make you a class I officer.

As you said that you are pursuing E.C.E stream.Your course is best and evergreen course among all the course,because it always maintain constant either it never fall,nor never speed up.

govt job for ECE
there are so many government sector which recruit electronics and communication engineering students. but there competition is very high as most of the student want to join in government sector.

but you may try for it. some of the government sector which recruit ECE students are
BSNL JTO
BHEL
ISRO
NTPC
SAIL
Indian railway
civil services
indian army etc etc.

Dear friend,
To get governemt jobs you have to give some exams fo that:
For pSU companys you have to give PSU exams to get jobs in BHEL,SAIL,NTPC.
For getting job in cetral body like railway etc you have to give civil service exam like IES exam.

If you want to enter government sectorr with ECE background, you must have a good knoweldge of your technical subjects. That is very important to crack any government exam. The competition is also very heavy. All exams are very tight with so many aspirants trying to grab a very limited jobs.

Can also apply for IES exams.
