Yes, you can join Air force after completion of Civil engineering.. for that you have to appear in exams like- CDS(combined defense service) exam, EKT(Engineering knowledge test), UES(university entry scheme).. After qualifying in the exam you have to go through the SSB.. Which is a 5 days interview.. Where you have to go through the GD session, technical and HR interview, physical fitness test , medical test.. After clearing all these things you will get a chance to join in Air Force as a Flying Lieutenant.. So go for it.. All the best.. |

No you can't join, I am giving you the detail:: Eligibility criteria for joining the Indian Air Force: Age: 18 to 28 years (At the time of commencement of training) Branches in Btech / BE: Electronics,Tele-communication, Electrical, Electrical Communication, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering Percentage in Btech / BE: 60% or above Hope I help you |

The three branches of the Air force are
The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions. Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force. You can observe there is no specific branch is mention so yes a civil engineer can also join ARMED-FORCE. |

yes , sir surely you can join the indian air force the qualification in various department mainly 1.flying officer men only(10+2/intermediate) 2.ground staff 3. Technical officer. Is graduation in any stream from a recognized university. So just log in to the official website of indian air force and see the recruitment process.

You are designated at engineer (Technical) post in air force if you will crack the SSB.
