Indian Army aspirant, first crack for NDA Examination

For this NDA examination some eligibility criteria are there

if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for NDA Examination

NDA - Stands for National Defence Academy

This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e.

NDA - I

and

NDA - II

NDA have three wings i.e.

Educational Qualification

Physical Standard for NDA Examination

Yes you can join Indian Army if you have passed 12th class with 48% marks.

You can apply for NDA examination as there is no percentage criteria for this examination.

If you are age is between 16.5 to 19 year and you are unmarried male then you are definitely eligible for NDA examination.

The examination is conducted by UPSC and you can apply for it when the notification are announced. The online application can be applied through UPSC website.

Yes, you can join Indian Army after passing 12th through cracking NDA entrance exam. There is no requirement of any percentage of marks in 12th level for application to NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy,the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The NDA can be applied through on line by paying requisite fee for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

In order to get jobs in Indian Army after 10+2/Inter you will have to apply for NDA(National Defence Academy) Exam conducted by the UPSC.To apply for this exam you will have to meet these conditions for Eligibility :

Nationality :- A candidate must either be :

• A citizen of India.
• A subject of Bhutan.
• A subject of Nepal.
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to Indian before 1st January 1962.
• A person of India who has migrated from Pakistan/Sri-Lanka/South Africa.

Educational qualification

A)Army Wing of National Defence Academy

• You should be pass out in class 12th in any discipline from recognized board/university following the study pattern of NCERT of 10+2.

B)Air-Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy

• You should be pass out in class 12th with Physics and mathematics at 10+2 level.

Age Required :

• Minimum age required to apply for NDA Exam is 16.5 years.
• Maximum age allowed to apply for NDA Exam is 19 years.

Examination Fee :

1. For general/OBC category - Rs 100.
2. For SC/ST - Nil.

Exam Syllabus for NDA Exam

Part I - Mathematics

• Total number of questions will be 120.
• Total marks will be 300.
• Total duration will be 2 hour and 30 minutes.

Part II - General Ability Test - Time Duration 2 hour and 30 minutes and Total questions will be 150.

• Part A - English - 200 Marks.
• Part B - General Knowledge - 400 Marks.

$$ NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. Exam is conducted for the Recruitment in the various Indian Defense system like 1). Indian Army, 2). Indian Navy and 3). Indian Air Force twice time in the year.....

After passing 12th, you can appear in NDA(National Defence Academy) examination to join Army wing.


UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts NDA examination twice every year in the months of April and August as NDA-I and NDA-II respectively.
