Right now i am i class 12 . After this i want to do BCA and MCA. Can i join air force after that as a technical officer.

Yes you will be able to join on completion of the degree. Make sure that you have a first class. For entrance you will need to appear for an entrance exam.

You can join air force after your +2. You will be have to take an entrance test and if you are qualified in that exam then you are selected.
after that you will be given training for two years in respective areas like landing gears, hydraulics and pneumatics, airframe mechanics, power plant, avionics etc.
Getting into air force also has some restrictions like age limit etc.

I suggest you to join air force immediately after your +2 than after your MBA if its your primary goal.

Because, as soon as you come out of +2 you will be having the knowledge in the background subjects like maths and physics. So your work will be easy.

After you do your MBA you may not remember the basics of these subjects.

So, I personally suggest you to join air force after +2.

Yes you can enter into Air-force after completing your graduation and even after post-graduation.


The three branches of the Air force are

• Flying,
• Ground duty
• and Technical branch.

The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions. Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force.


You can apply for CDS which is a common entry to armed forces or can apply to ssb.

yes you can apply for indian army. as you are a student of 12th. then you can also apply for NDA .within the age limit 16-19. and also after complition of BCA you can also apply for CDS .with aggregate 60% in your graduation and in +2 examination.

To join the technical department of Indian AirForce, you must hold a degree in engineering. Such candidates are recruited in the technical department as aeronautical engineer. But since you are interested in doing MCA, you will get opportunity to join the Indian Air Force, in the Meteorological Branch.
An individual who holds a masters degree in Computer application, physics and related field, statistics and related field, maths and related field, science, meteorology, ecology etc. are recruited in this department.

Since you will be doing MCA, you will have to score a minimum of 50% marks and must have studied maths and physics in the graduation level and must score 55% in the subjects in the bachelors degree examination.

this is sorry to say but you cannot join the Indian air force if you do not belong to the science stream.
For getting into the air force, you have to complete your class 12th with physics and mathematics as your main subjects and if you want to join the air force after your graduation, then also it is necessary for you to be a part of the science or engineering stream.
