I m 12th pass(commerce) from CBSE Delhi. can i join indian army through ICWA. If yes then tell me abt d post. plz reply fast

10+2 or 10+2 passout students can join Indian Defence Forces by appearing in National Defence Academy (NDA) examination conducted by Union Public Service Commision (UPSC) twice in a year in the month of April and August.

To be eligible for NDA examination, the candidate must have complete 10+2 with any of the stream. Furthure the candidate must be a male Indian within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years as on the date of interview.

Apart from this entry mode, graduate students with any of the stream are also eligible for to join Defence forces by appearin in CDSE or SSC examination. For both of the examinations, the candidate must have a bachelor degree in any of the stream.

ICWA is a professional course and after the completion you won't be provided a graduation degree or ICWA certificate may or may not be treated as a bachelor degree course. So it is advised to contact respective department before making any application for CDS or SSC examination.
