NDA entrance test, usually known as NDA Exam is conducted for all the three wings of National Defense Academy.In order to be considered eligible for the Air Force and the Naval Wing of National Defense Academy, one must have studied Physics and Mathematics in the 10+2 level. However, for the Army Wing of the National Defense Academy, there is no such compulsion. Hence, being a commerce student, you may take the NDA entrance test in order to join the Army Wing of National Defense Academy. The minimum eligible age for the same is 16.5 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years.


NDA Exam is conducted two times a year and in order to keep yourself updated, you must refer to the official website of Union Public Service Commission.

Yes a commerce stream candidate can apply for the NDA Exam.There are three stream in NDA Exam.These are :-
~Indian Army.
~Indian Navy.
~Indian Air-Force.

You will be able to apply for Indian Army.The basic Eligibility required are :-
~Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.
~English should be well known to you.
~You should be Physically and Mentally fit.
~You do not have any internal injury.

Physical Requirement for this exam :-
~Your chest should be well developed with minimum of 5 cms expansion.
~You should have normal hearing in each ear and have good binocular vision in both eye.
~You should be able to read 6/6 in distance vision chart.
~You should have 14 minimum dental points.
~You should have healthy gums.
~You should below to recognize red and green colors.

Physical Fitness Exam includes :-
~1 Mile run.
~Pull ups.
~Balance.
~9 Feet Ditch.

Exam Syllabus :-
~Reasoning.
~Numerical ability.
~General Knowledge.
~English Grammar.
~Psychological Test.

I am happy to inform you that you are eligible for N.D.A exam after passing 12th with commerce stream.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5 year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam
