Hi friend,

You can apply for UPSC since you are in final year.

Because the eligibility of UPSC says that you must be a graduate to apply for

that exam and also the final year students also can apply.

I suggest you to finish your final year apply for UPSC next year.

Dear,
In UPSC, graduation is required to fulfill educational eligibility criteria. So, i doesn't matter through which branch you are pursuing your graduation.

Your branch comes in picture if are taking the same subjects as in your B.Tech for your main and preliminary subject.

Few engineering subjects under UPSC Syllabus
- Electrical engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Civil engineering etc.

GOOD LUCK
