I am Anil rana from Delhi, i am 23 yrs old. i have done b.com(p) from DU with 45% marks and 66% in English in 12th standard. Could you pls tell me,can i join army or not and how i can be army officer?

Since you have complete your graduation you are eligible for the army. You will need to clear the NDA entrance test. On clearing this you will be provided training at the academy. You need to clear the training period to be taken into the armed force.

You can join army through UPSC exam and the eligibility criteria for the exam is a graduate from a recognized university between the age 19 to 24 years.

Graduate students can join Indian Army via these two ways :-

1. By appearing in CDS (Combine Defence Examination) examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commition) twice in a year. The minimum educational qualification for this examination is Graduation in any stream. If one got selectiin in SSB (Serice Selection Board) then candidate can get direct position of Officer.

2. Another way is to join through SSC i.e Short Service Commition for which minimum educational qualification is graduation in any stream.

1)You can join with your 12th Standard Certificate for the following position

*Indian Army soldiers Nursing Assistant

*Indian Arny soldiers Clerk Exam

*NDA

*10 12th Technical Entry Scheme

Medical Fitness is more important,for all the posting

Dear friend,
You are eligible for it,because you are a graduate student,but marks is little less than the requirement,it would better if it will 60%,but dont upset apply fir army...

yes dude u can join the army as such there is not criteria of % for the army if u r a science student than go for NDA anf if some othe then use inter net open google and write army carrers and u can see the openings on that what ever suitable for u and suits ur criteria so then download that form fill it and post that to the specific given address............

The minimum eligibility criteria for joining army is 12 pass certificate but since you have completed you b.com you can apply for CDS entrance exam.Yes you can join army.You will have to go for 2 years of training period and then you will be an officer.

Ya you can join the Indian Army through CDS(Combined Defence Service Examination) notified by UPSC in Mar/Apr and Sep/Oct.

After completing your graduation you can apply for CDS.But you should have scored atleast 50% aggregate in your graduation.

You will have to prepare for CDSE exam and then if pass that you will have to give SSB
and if you get selected in that then you have to appear for medical test and if you clear that then you will be selected and have to join the defence.

I Have done my graduation with 59% from Gujarat University with Accounts(86 marks).but my physical fitness is not proper to join in army.so which way to join in Indian Army without physical test.

To join in India army you have to appear in CDS exam...
Eligibility criteria to appear in CDSE:-

For Indian Military Academy:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university..
*The candidates age should be in between 19-24 years...
*The candidate must be a citizen of India..
*The candidate should be unmarried...

Dear aspirant,

-If you are graduate then you can apply for CDS exam because you are a graduate.

-As you are a non-technical graduate hence you will be only eligible for Indian Army.

-The age limit for CDS exam is 19 to 25 years for OTA (officers training academy), Chennai.

-You can apply for CDS exam when notifications are out through UPSC website online.

-You have to face an objective type paper and SSB interview in this examination.

-If you pass the above then you have to pass the medical test.

-You should not have knock knee, flat foot , varicose veins and ailments of eyes otherwise you will not be allowed to join Army.
