computer science department are eligible for PSU exam.

but you have score above 60% in graduation level. because for PSU exam criteria is vary fron 60% to 70%.

the PSU organizations are-

BHEL,ONGC,BSNL,MTNL,SAIL,NHAI,NTPC,BHPV,ONGC,IOCL, ISRO,HPCL,BPCL

Yes computer science students are eligible for PSU's. But there are only some public sectors where Computer science students can apply.

These PSU's are SAIL, ISRO, HAL, DRDO, BPCL, BARC, Indian Railways, ECIL and BSNL.

Only these PSU's recruit for the computer science and engineering students.

They all conduct their own exam for the recruitment purpose on the basis of the result.

yes there are few p.s.us which require computer science graduates...the companies are SAIL,ISRO,DRDO,NIC,BARC,BANK (SPECIALIST OFFICER),BSNL,ONGC,BEL....YOU HAVE LOOK FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE sites...the problem is that many of them don't recruit every year.

Yes, computer science students are eligible for PSUs. Some PSUs which hire computer science students are-

* BSNL
* VSNL
* MTNL
* ISRO
* BHEL etc.

You can also apply in Indian Railway, Defence etc.

Minimum Eligibility:

1:You should have B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc. in Engg. Degree required

2:If you are a final-year students, the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview.

3:minimum required number varies for different PSUs companies generally,60%-70% for general and 50%-60% for the SC/ST/OBC/PH.

4:PSUs allow for two years gap.

Some high profiled PSUs are:

HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) needs minimum 65% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 55% Marks for SC/ST

HPCL(Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) needs minimum 60% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 50% Marks for SC/ST

NTPC(National Thermal Power Corporation ) needs minimum 60% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 50% Marks for SC/ST

BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited) needs minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization)

BSNL- JTO (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.- Junior Telecom. Officers)
