You can apply for AMIE if you prefer to study through correspondence. The AMIE degree is considered equal to BE degree and the duration of the degree is from 4 to 6.
You can even try taking admission to lateral entry to 2nd year best of luck |

Apart from this institute there are some more institute which provide the correspondence course of B.Tech ,some of them are Annamalai university, Manipal university, Mumbai university etc...... There are some other BE/BTech equivalent engineering programs, AMIE and AMIETE ... which provides the computer courses ,you can also go for these programs... Best wishes ~Regards Subhasish |

why do Correspondence b.tech?
go for regular course. most of the state govt engg colleges and private engg colleges now offering b.tech lateral entry to 3rd semester(2nd year). go for the entrance exams. or if u have enough money then, u can take admission in any private engg college in india for your lateral entry. |

There is no problem at all doing correspondence BTech after Diploma if your aim is AMIE. The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work and Section B examination of the Institution. If an applicant passes both sections of the examination, he or she becomes an Associate of the Institution of Engineers (AIE). The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development considers this qualification is equivalent to a degree in engineering. AIE was earlier Grad IE (Bachelor's degree of Institituion). Its a very valuable degree. The duration is 4 years but for Diploma holder students it is only of 3-years. For all details visit: http://www.ieindia.info/ Thank You |
