Graduation degree is necessary to apply for IPS post. Even those who have taken degree in a correspondence mode can apply for the same. In such cases, it is essential to complete degree from one of the recognized and reputed institutes or universities. Higher age limit to apply for this exam is 30 years. Try to clear both preliminary and main levels of civil services exam so as to attend personal interview.
