Thumbs up Re: Difference between B.E & B.Tech and ME or M.Tech?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN B.E & B.TECH AND M.E & M.TECH

There is no particular difference as such between B.E-B.Tech and M.E-M.Tech both are same the only change and difference between both is the name.

-> Some of the Engineering colleges providing engineering course along with other studies named the bachelor course as Bachelor of Engineering and the colleges which provide only Engineering studies name it as Bachelor of Technology.

-> So there was a minor confusion between these two different names and people started thinking about which is better? So AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education ) came into play and found both B.E-B.Tech and M.E-M.Tech providing the same syllabus of studies so they make it together and to be called as B.Tech from now on.

-> Now there is no course or degree to be called as B.E or M.E but B.Tech and M.Tech.

-> There was slight changes in the syllabus in private Universities which followed the previous one meant for Bachelor of Engineering but now all the colleges have the same course of study which is B.Tech and M.Tech.

-> So bottom line there is no big change or difference between B.E-B.Tech and M.E-M.Tech but both are same with different names

-> Any more queries, feel free to leave a post in our forum..

the difference is just of the degree name,

the subjects are same, duration is same,
where is M.Tech is a superior Engineering Degree as compared to M.E as it was started by IITs with the aim of producing Research Engineers who can get the position of "Technologist" as well in the Industries and Research Institutes.

B.E -BACHELOR OF ENGG

B.TECH - BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY

ALSO M.E AND M.TECH-MASTER'S

NOTE ALL THE COURSES IN GRADUATION (B.E AND B.TECH) ARE EQUAL ONLY THE SUBJECTS AND DEPT ARE VARIABLE

LIKE As an I.T People Comes Under B.TECH and others Dept Comes under B.E

(MECH,EEE,ECE.....) Same in M.E and M.TECH Courses

There are Some B.tech Courses Available

Finally

i Ensure Both Of the Courses are Equal Weightage

dear friend,

-->>B.Tech stands for Bachelor of technology. Its a graduation course and M.Tech stands for Master of technology and it is a post graduation course.
In M.Tech ,you can do specialization in a particular subject but not in B.Tech as its the basic course like BCA for computer application and higher degree is MCA.
If you are looking for a job, there is no need of doing a masters course but yes definately you can get more better salary and position not just because you have master degree but you have gained more knowledge and skill which is the almost important for any public or private companies.

-->>M.E is the extension of B.E similarly M.Tech is the extension of B.Tech.If you are affliated to AU university you will be certified as BE graduate holder .If you are affliated to JNTU then you will be certified as B.Tech graduate.
Both means are of same .Both are equal to engineering but universities are different .Remember one thing if you do B.Tech then you can not go M.E.Similarly if you do B.E you can not go for M.Tech.Better continue the same university education.

All the best.................

Difference between BE-B.tech and ME-M.tech

-there is no any difference between BE and B.Tech and ME and M.Tech.
-everyone says BE is lower degree then the B.Tech.
-means B.tech is a higher degree then the BE.
-BE stands for Bachelor of Engineering and B.tech is stand for Bachelor of Technology.
-ME stands for Masters of Engineering and M.tech is Maters of Technology.
-Both courses have same preference for job and have equal value in the market
thanks
