Is a diploma engineering student eligible for UPSE exam?


i am persuing diploma engg in electronics from aligarh muslim university. i want to appear in the exams .i want to ask is dip engg students are eligible or only those who nare persuing b.tech

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts a combined competitive examinations.

You should be citizen of India.

You must have a degree in engineering from a recognized university.

Final years candidates are also eligible.

Maximum age limit for this exam is 21 years.

The upper age limit of 30 years will be relaxable upto 35 years in the case of government servants.

You must be physically fit.
