GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is the entrance test for admission to M. Tech. course. The eligibility criteria for appering in GATE is-
A person must hold a degree of B. E. or B. Tech. or B. Arch. OR A person must hold a master's degree in any field of science/maths/statistics/computer. A person can give as many attempts as he wants. No age limit, no minimum percentage required. A person can give GATE during prefinal or final year of above mentioned courses or after completion of course. The GATE score card is valid for two years. |

the GATE eligibility criteria is given below 1.Minimum graduation in engineering(BE/B.Tech) form AICTE approved college or university. final year & prefinal year engineering(BE/B.Tech) students are allowed to attain in the gate exam. as gate rank is valid for 2 years. 2.MCA/MSC students are also eligible to attain in the gate exam. there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam. all the best............ |

The eligibility criteria for the GATE exam:
-- Students must have their B.Tech. degrees to apply for GATE examination. -- Students in the final and prefinal year of these programs are also eligible for the exam. Students apply for the GATE exam mainly to take admission in the M.Tech. programs after completing their B.Tech. Students can apply in the field of their own graduation courses to be eligible to take admission in M.Tech. programs. GATE exam is conducted by IIT's and IISC. So you can go to the website of any IIT institute and apply online for the exam. |

The eligibility criteria for GATE is- 1. You must hold a degree of B. E. /B. Tech./B. Arch. (OR) You must hold a Master Degree in any field of science/maths/statistics/computer. 2. You can give as many attempts as you want. 3. No age limit, no minimum percentage is required. 4. At least you have to be in the final year of your studies according the new rules. All the best. |

See you have maintained a god percentage of marks that really good to get enter into a Mtech course,You have here got two option one is you can join NITs based on your marks because there are some seats which are remain there for Non GATE students based on marks.Second is you can join many of the private Universities which offers the degree of Mtech in Computer science Like some of the good universities includes :Vellore university ,Anna University ,Indraprasth University ,SRM University ,MIT University (Manipal ),Jay pee University ect..!!!

GATE entrance is conducted by IIT's every year once.This exam score is valid for 2 years.
Eligibility criteria for GATE-2012 exam: Candidate should have complete B.E/B.Tech/Architecture/Statistical course. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones such that One Indian Institute of Science(IISc),Bangalore and the Seven IITs(Bombay,Kharagpur,Kanpur,Guahati,Roorkee,Madra s,Delhi)
The most important news in GATE-2012 is that Pre-final year student ca not appear in GATE 2012 exam. According to the Eligibility of the GATE: 1:You should have a Bachelor's degree holder in Engineering or Technology or Architecture or Pharmacy of 4 years after 10+2. 2:You can also apply if you are in the final year examination of the Bachelor Degree. or 3:You have to be a Master degree holders in any branch of Science like Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications etc.... 4:You can also apply if you are in the final year examination of the Master Degree. Eligibility criterion for
GATE The categories of candidates who can apply for GATE are listed below. Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Architecture or Pharmacy. Final year students can also apply for GATE. Candidate should have Master’s degree in any branch of Science, Mathematics, Computer Application, or Statistics. Final year students in these streams too can also apply for GATE. Candidates who have obtained a professional degrees equivalent to B.Tech or B.E recognised by UPSE or AICTE can also apply. The usual courses are AME by ICE(I) and AMIE by IE (I). Candidates who have passed Dual degree program or 5- year Integrated Masters degree program or 4-year Integrated Master’s Degree Program (after B.Sc) in Engineering or Technology can also apply for GATE. |
