In order to appear for the National Eligibility Test in Lectureship, there is basically no age limit. So, you may take the test, no matter what your age is.
However, to be considered eligible for the test, you must have qualified masters degree examination from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. As per the guidelines set by the University Grant Commission, the required percentage of marks is only relaxed for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and for no one else even those having served the defense forces of India. So, basically there is no special reservation or relaxation for defense personnel in the National Eligibility Test for Lecrureship.
For further information, you may refer to the official website of University Grant Commission.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
