Eligibility for district judge or magistrate
I m a PG (MBA in Finance) but now I want to apply for district judge or magistrate ..so how can I apply for that ?

Its good to see that you want to join the prestigious service i.e Judicial Officer but for that you need to posses LLB degree and as you are a graduate as well as post graduate in MBA, you can pursue career in law, once you obtain LLB degree ,you need to enrol yourself before bar council and once all the previously mentioned requisites are completed you need to appear in judiciary exam conducted by various State Public Service Commission. There are 3 stages viz, Preliminary, Mains and Interview, once you clear all the stages and get selected for the service, then you need to undergo 6 or 12 months training and once the training is completed you will be inducted as Civil Judge (Junior Division) or Judicial Magistrate (Second Class).

One who wishes to become Magistrates has to appear for the exams carried out by the Law Service Commission. They can also write the State Judicial Law Entrance Exam conducted by the State Public Service Commission.
Eligibility criteria for magistrate : -The candidate should have passed Bachelor's of Law with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. -The candidate who holds LLM degree can also apply for the post. -The candidate age must be in between 21 years to 35 years. Selection Criteria:- Written exam , Interview. |

Sorry to tell that you are not eligible for District judge or magistrate being a MBA candidate.
To become a district judge, the eligibility is 1. You must complete degree in law i.e, LLB 2. The age limit is 21 - 35 years 3. The minimum marks percentage required in LLB is 55% marks |

The process to become magistrate is given below:
Educational Qualification: To be eligible for becoming a magistrate one should possess a law graduate degree. Age: Not less than 21 years and not greater than 35 years. To become a magistrate one has to follow the below given steps: To become a magistrate one has to first possess a degree in LLB. After then you have to compete for state Judicial Service exam held by respective state governments from time to time. |
